Land Day

On 30 March 1976, six Palestinian citizens of Israel were killed during a general strike against land expropriation in the Galilee.

Land Day has been marked every year since, by Palestinians inside historic Palestine and far beyond it. It was one of the first commemorations shared across the lines drawn in 1948.
