Jericho (Ariha)

Tell es-Sultan marks one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited settlements, inscribed by UNESCO in 2023. The city sits below sea level in the Jordan Valley, which is the point of Jericho: warmth when the hills freeze, and date palms in winter.
